Why start now?

  1. Because you don’t have to keep carrying your worries on your own.

  2. Because you will learn practical tools that you can begin applying from the very first day.

  3. Because taking care of your mental health is an investment in both your personal and professional life.

If you have never been to therapy before, it is completely normal to have doubts.

In psychoanalysis, allowing things to unfold gradually is essential. The process of comprehending the unconscious, developing subjectivity, and processing experiences requires a different perception of time than a linear one.

It involves allowing the logical progression of listening and psychological work—including waiting and drawing conclusions—to unfold, ultimately resulting in a profound and lasting understanding that transcends the mere sequence of events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find clear answers to common questions. I am here to address any concerns you may have about starting therapy.

How do I know if I need therapy? Do I need a diagnosis?

If you feel that something is worrying you, holding you back, or repeating itself in your life, that is already reason enough to seek support.
Therapy is not only for clinical cases. It can also help you better understand yourself, manage stress, or make important decisions.

That’s completely okay. Many people come in feeling unsure about what to say or where to begin. The first session is a space for us to get to know each other and build that starting point together.

I adapt to the format that works best for you. If, once the process has begun, you find that your needs change, there’s no problem—we can make the necessary adjustments.

Each session is different, and there is no fixed duration set in stone. Sessions usually last around 50 minutes.

It depends on the moment and the therapeutic process, but sessions are usually held once a week.

Yes, I also support therapeutic processes during adolescence and provide guidance to families when needed.

You can cancel in advance. Please let me know at least 24 hours ahead of time so I can reorganize my schedule and offer that time to someone else who may need it.

Not necessarily. In some cases, therapy and medication can work together. If you are already receiving psychiatric treatment, we can coordinate the work.

There is no fixed duration. Each process is unique and depends on your goals, the reason for seeking therapy, and how you feel along the way.
